MEDIC RUNNERS

RACE-DAY SAFETY, POWERED BY COMMUNITY.

The SGIM Medic Runners are experienced runners from the local running community with first-aid training who help enhance race-day safety.

While professional medical teams are stationed throughout the course, Medic Runners provide an added layer of on-course support by recognising signs of distress, offering basic first aid, and alerting professional medical teams when further assistance is required.

At its heart, the programme is about runners supporting runners. By combining race experience with first-aid expertise, Medic Runners help foster a safer, more reassuring race environment to ensure every participant can run with greater confidence.
