The complimentary early MRT service is only available on the morning of the BYD Marathon (Sunday, 6 Dec). Why isn't it available for the adidas Half Marathon on Saturday, 5 Dec?
Every runner, regardless of distance, is equally important to us. This year, we’re launching the complimentary early MRT service for BYD Marathon participants, drawing inspiration from transport initiatives at major marathons around the world. As this is our inaugural rollout, we’re piloting the programme with a single race category first, with the aim of expanding it in the future.
What transport support is available for the adidas Half Marathon on Saturday, 5 Dec?
adidas Half Marathon runners will be supported by dedicated paid shuttle bus services to the start line. Full shuttle bus details will be announced on our website, social channels, and via emails closer to race day.
Will complimentary early MRT service be expanded to other race days in the future?
This year’s launch marks the start of our partnership with SMRT and an important first step in enhancing the race-day experience. We’ll review the pilot and continue exploring opportunities to extend transport support to more runners in future editions.
